yea if you kept the 3 ring setup ( unlike me) it would ok for xc and you might chucked about a bit on downhill but the frame would survive for light downhill

yea its really good for just general thrashing. i have the 04 frame - 15 inch and mostly do dirt jumping on it and its fine - the only bad side is probably the weight Smile
